Eligibility Criteria For RPF/ RPSF Constable Recruitment 2018-19

Educational Qualification:

The Candidates should passes SSLC/ Matric from a recognized Board of Constable (Ancillary) shall only be valid. Those awaiting result of the final examination of the prescribed educational qualification SHOULD NOT apply.

Age Limit:

The Candidates age should be between 18 years and 25 years as on 30.01.2019. Besides this age relaxation will be applicable as per rule.(SC/ST -5years,OBC- 3years relaxation).

Physical Measurements:

Height: For  Male Candidates 165  cms (SC/ST Candiadates 163 cms), 
               For Women Candidatse 157 cms (SC/ST Candidates 152 cms).

Chest (For Men Only): 80 cm to 85 cm (SC / ST candidates up to 76.2 cm to 81.2 cm) should be expanded. 

Application Fee:

1. For all candidates except the concession categories mentioned below at Sl.No. 2: Rs. 500/-
(Rs. 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges on appearing in CBT.)

2.For candidates belong to SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/Female/Minorities/Economically backward class: Rs. 250/-
(This fee of Rs. 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges on appearing in CBT.)


How to Apply:

All Eligible and Interested Candidates Can Apply through the Online Application Method for all the Above Posts. No Other Mode Will be Applicable. Candidates Should Read All the Instruction Before Submit a Online Application form.

Selection Process:

1.Computer Based Test: Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBT) is held in February / March 2019. There are 60 questions in this test. Complete in 45 minutes. It will give questions from General Awareness -20 marks, Arthmetics-20 marks, General Intelligence & Reasoning -20 marks. This test has negative marking. Each wrong answer is reduced to 1/3 marks.

2.Physical Efficiency Test & Physical Measurement Test: All candidates qualifying CBT will be called PET and PMT.Passing PET is mandatory and the same will be qualifying in nature.No marks to be awarded. (800 mts run - 3 min 40 secs, Long Jump - 9feets, High Jump - 3 feets)

3.Trade Test: All candidates who qualify in PET and PMT shall undergo the Trade Test. Trade Test to be conducted out of 40 marks. Candidates must score a minimum of 40% (35% for SC/ST Candidates) to qualify further stages of the selection. 


4.Document Verification: Candidates who have passed these three examinations will be finalized by finalizing the documentation and announcing the final results.
