Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC), Hyderabad has successfully conducted Gurukulam Combined and Common Preliminary Exam 2017 on june 14th. The marks obtained in the screening test will not be counted in the final selection. Now, as the TSPSC key will be released at Official Portal, the candidates can analyze their performance at different selections. Based on the performance in the screening test, the candidates will be picked up in the ratio of 1:50 for the main exam.

Telangana State Public Service Commission, commonly referred as TSPSC, has released  three separate notifications for PGTs, TGTs and PD (School) in Residential Educational Institutions Societies to fill 5,289 posts in April.  Under the notification (no. 13/2017), 921 vacancies of Post Graduate Teacher in Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, English, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Biological Science, and Social Studies were notified.

The remaining 4,362 posts of Trained Graduate Teachers in Telugu, English, Hindi, Maths, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Sanskrit, English, Science, & Social Studies subjects were notified under the notification no. 14/2017. There were another 6 posts of Physical Director (School) which were notified in the notification 15/2017. Since the TGT & PGT posts are designated for language subjects and some optional subjects, TSPSC decided to hold the screening test in two phases. Screening test for the post of Physical Director, Optional subjects and English Language of PGT &TGT posts is scheduled to be held on May 31st. while a separate screening test for languages posts of PGT &TGT i.e., Telugu, Hindi, Urdu and Sanskrit will be held on June 14th.
