 Forest Survey of India (FSI):

 Forest Survey of India (FSI) is a national organization under the Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Government of India and is responsible for forest resource assessment of the country.

 Eligibilty Criteria for FSI Recruitment 2017:

 Age limit:
The upper age limit is 30 years as on the last date of submission of application.The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 year in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH

 Essential Qualification:
1. Post Graduate in Science/Environmental Science/Applied Science/M.A.Geography or Post Graduate/ Diploma in RS & GIS from a recognized University/Institution,
2. Working Knowledge of DIP/GIS.

 Place of Posting:
FSI, Dehradun/ FSI, Zonal Offices/ Regional Offices of MoEF&CC across the Country.

 Selection Process: Selection will be based on written test and Hands-on test.
