A Common Entrance Test, designated as Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test-2017 (TSEd.CET-2017) will be conducted by the CONVENER, TSEdCET-2017, Osmania University, Hyderabad on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education for admission in to B.Ed (Two years) Regular Course in the Colleges of Education in Telangana State for the academic year 2017-2018

TS EdCET 2017 Hall Tickets Download: 

Osmania University issued the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test(TS Ed.CET 2017) on March 14th, 2017 the University invited online applications from the eligible candidates for admission into Two years B.Ed regular course in the Colleges of Education in Telangana State for the academic year 2017-2017.

Eligible candidates were applied their applications Online mode for this stream from 14.03.2017 to 07-05-2017. Now online applications receive process is going on utpo 19-05-2017 with late fee of Rs.1000/-

Applied Ed.CET 2017 Candidates are waiting for their hall tickets. Candidates can download their hall tikets from the official web portal tsedcet.org. OU Officials have to uploaded the applied candidates hall tickets their web portal soon. Candidates should keep their hall tickets while going to the examination hall and should preserve the hall tickets till the time of admissions.

All arrangements are in place for the smooth conduct of TS Ed CET-2017 on May 27 from 11 am to 1 pm. Candidates can download their hall tickets through website www.tsedcet.org till the commencement of the exam by entering the registration number and date of birth. Candidates would be allowed into the examination centres from 10 am onwards. Hence, candidates were advised to arrive at the respective test centre one hour before the exam commences to avoid the delay for biometric fingerprints, which is introduced for the first time in TS Ed CET-2017. No candidate would be allowed into the examination hall after 11 am, according to Convener Prof Padala Prasad.

 TS EdCET 2017 Hall Tickets, Entrance exam date 16-07-2017:

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education has activated the hall ticket link for the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EdCET 2017) at edcet.tsche.ac.in. Thousands of candidates who have applied for the entrance test in May can now download the admit card. The Osmania University, Hyderabad will conduct the exam on July 16, 2017 from 11 am to 1 pm on behalf of TSCHE. The entrance test will be held for admission in to B Ed (two years) regular course in the colleges of education in Telangana for the academic year 2017-2018. The preliminary keys will be released on July 19 while the results will be declared on July 28.

EdCET Exam pattern: 

A total of 150 multiple choice questions will be asked in Ed CET 2017. There will be three parts of which two parts will be of 25 marks while part three will be of 50 marks.
In Part A, questions on General English will be quizzed, Part B will have ask questions on GK and teaching aptitude. However, Part C is subject-wise and will have 100 questions.
The candidates will have to attempt any one of the five subjects as per the eligibility, the subjects will be : Mathematics/ Physical Sciences/ Biological Sciences/ Social Studies/ English.
