Introduction:

On the 50th Anniversary year of the Indian Independence, the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi has instituted the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board. The Board has been incorporated with the purpose of recruiting capable, competent, highly skilled individuals by conducting written tests, professional tests and personal interviews wherever as desired. The Board shall hereby committed to develop selection and recruitment procedures that confirm to the global standards in testing, and promise selections by all fair means, of the most competent, capable, and skilled individuals for user departments.

Qualification Required:

LDC: 12th class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or university.

Grade-IV (DASS) & Grade-II (DASS): Degree from a recognized university in Arts/ Commerce/ Science or Agriculture.

Statistical Assistant: Post Graduate Degree in Statistics/Operational research /Mathematical Statistics/ Applies statistics Or Post Graduate Degree in Economics/Mathematics /Commerce (with Statistics as one of the subject / papers in Post Graduation/Graduation level ).

Junior Engineer (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/Institution or equivalent.

Draughtsman Grade-III: Matriculation or equivalent from a Board or institution recognized by state/ central Govt.

Field Assistant: Matriculation /High School Pass from a recognized institute/Board.

Food Safety Officer: A degree in food technology or dairy technology or bio technology or oil technology or agriculture science or veterinary sciences or bio chemistry or micro biology or Master degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from recognized university or Any other equivalent/ recognized qualification notified by Central Govt.

Librarian (DTTE): Graduate from a recognized university with diploma in Library Science.

Librarian (Dte. Of Training): Bachelor’s degree in Library science or Library and Information science of a recognized university/institute.

Age Limit :

LDC: 18-25 years
Grade-IV: 18-27 years
Grade-II: 20-27 years
Statistical Assistant: 18-30 years
Junior Engineer (Civil): 18-27 years
Draughtsman Grade-III: 18-27 years
Field Assistant: 18-27 years
Food Safety Officer: Not more than 30 years
Librarian (DTTE): Below 37 years
Librarian (Dte. Of Training): Not more than 30 years

Selection procedure:

#Selection will be based on the tier-1 and tier-2 exam
#Only shortlisted candidates will appear in the skill test that will organize by the recruitment panel of the organization.

>On the home page follow the “Recruitments” tab >>mention in the Employment/business section.
>Click the link of “Vacancy Advertised”.
>Press the link “Vacancy Notice - Advertisement No. 01/17”
>PDF file will be open on your computer screen.
>Read all the details carefully which is given in the PDF file.
>Click the “apply online” link
>Fill the application form very carefully and upload your necessary documents and signature file and then hit the submit button.
>Now take printout of system generated application form and keep it for future use.

EXAMINATION FEES AND MODE OF PAYMENT: ₹ 100/- (One Hundred only)

a). Women candidates and candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, Physically Handicapped & Ex-serviceman category are exempted from paying Application fee.
b). Ex-servicemen who have already secured employment in civil side under Central Government on regular basis after availing of the benefits of reservation given to ex-servicemen for their re employment are NOT eligible for fee concession.
c). The candidates submitting their application online should pay the requisite fees only through SBI e-pay. Other mode of payment will not be considered and the application of such candidates will be rejected outrightly and payment made shall stand forfeited.
d) Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Examination Scheme :

DSSSB will conduct One Tier and Two Tier Examination for the post codes as per examination scheme given in Annexure-I. However, DSSSB reserves the right to change/amend the examination scheme, if so required, any time before the examination.
