JEE Advanced 2017 Result, Rank Cards, Merit List, Cut off Marks, Counselling Dates:
The result of JEE Advanced will be announced online on June 11, 2017 ( at 10 pm). Candidates can check JEE Advanced 2017 result by loggin into the result portal using their registration number, date of birth, mobile number and email ID. The result of JEE Advanced 2017 will include the category-wise All India Rank (AIR) of the candidates. Counselling will be based on JEE Advanced 2017 ranks. Candidates will be notified about declaration of results on their registered mobile numbers. However, individual rank cards will not be sent to the candidate. To access individual rank cards, the candidate will have to log-in to their individual accounts. Also, it must be noted that merely qualifying in JEE Advanced 2017, filling up choices and participating in the seat allocation process doesn't guarantee admission to an IIT. Allotment of seats will depend on factors like availability of seats during the counselling round. Also, only those candidates who qualify in JEE Advanced 2017 are eligible to participate in JoSAA counselling. |

The exam was conducted on May 21 at various centres. Over 2.2 lakh candidates appeared for the exam consisted of two papers, i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. A text message will also be sent on registered mobile numbers of candidates regarding their results.
The answer keys for the same were released on June 5. Also, all students will be awarded 11 bonus marks for three 'ambiguous' questions that were asked in the JEE (Advanced) paper

JEE Advanced Rank List 2017
JEE Advanced Rank List 2017 will be released after the result of JEE Advanced 2017. The rank list of JEE Advanced 2017 will be prepared on the basis of candidates’ performance in the national level engineering entrance test. Examinees marks in Paper I and Paper II of JEE Advanced 2017 will be considered for deciding their ranks in JEE Advanced 2017. JEE Advanced 2017 Rank List/Merit List can be checked by the candidates, who had appeared in the exam on May 21, after the result of JEE Advanced 2017 is declared.
JoSAA Counselling
Candidates, those qualified the JEE Advanced exam will be called for the JEE Advanced 2017 Counselling. The admission to the seats offered by the IITs, ISM, NITs, other Govt. Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) will be done by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) through centralize counselling. JoSAA counselling 2017 will be started after the result declaration. The eligible candidates have to sit in the joint seat allocation process for the distribution of seats. Counselling process will be started from 15th June 2017.
Seat Reservation:
The seats are reserved as per the rules of Indian government. The reservation for different categories are as follows:
For SC – 15%
For ST – 7.5%
For OBC-NCL – 27%
For remaining all – 50.5%
For Person with Disability (PwD) – 3% seats are reserved in each of the categories.
JEE Main Cut Off 2017:
The CBSE Board has been released JEE Main cut-off through online mode. The marks to appear in the JEE Advanced exam are clear now. Cut-off marks are different as category-wise. Candidate scored more than given cut off marks will be eligible for JEE Advanced 2017. In the year 2017, total top 2,20000 scorers were eligible to appear in JEE Advanced. Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2017:
The candidates who want to take admission in the B.Arch programme are required to qualify the AAT examination. Only JEE Advanced 2017 qualifiers will be eligible to appear the test. To take AAT, the candidates have to register themselves online on the official portal of JEE Advanced. It is the single paper of 3 hours duration. Those, secure marks above the cut-off marks will be considered as qualifiers for the AAT. There will no separate rank list be prepared for AAT. Admission will be done through the rank secured by the candidate in JEE Advanced 2017.
