1. B.Sc. (Nursing) 4 years
2. B.P.T Seats
3. B.Sc Anaesthesia Technology (AT) 4 years (including 01 year internship):
4. B.Sc Medical Lab Technology (MLT)
5. B.Sc Neurophysiology Technology (EEG & ENMG)s
6. B.Sc Radiography & Imaging Technology (RIT)
7. B.Sc Cardiac Pulmonary Perfusion Technology
8. B.Sc ECG and Cardiovascular Technology
9. B.Sc Dialysis Technology (DT)
10. B.Sc Emergency Medical Services Technology(EMST)
11. B.Sc Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT)
12. Diploma in Radiotherapy Technology(DRT)

Eligibility: Inter MPC/ Bi.PC or equivalent.
The candidates for admission to the graduate courses shall have passed intermediate examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with optional subjects of botany, zoology, physics & chemistry. Inter with optional subjects of MPC are eligible for B.Sc (NMT) & DRT courses (S.No. 11&12). The students who have passed intermediate vocational bridge course with Biology & Physical Sciences are also eligible for courses S.No. 1 to 10 subject to merit in the Bridge course in Physical & Biological sciences.

Selection Process: Admissions are made based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination.

SVIMS was conceived in the year 1986 on the lines of AIIMS, New Delhi and the foundation stone was laid on 18.4.86 by Late Sri.N.T.Rama Rao, the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in the world famous pilgrim town Tirupati. It was established with a view to providing Super Specialty facilities with nominal cost to the poor.

The hospital started functioning from 26.2.93. by an Act of A.P. State Legislature. This Institute became a University in 1995 within a short time of establishment. The Present Director is Dr. Dr.Thanjavur S. Ravikumar, M.S.,FACS, FRCS(C), FRCS(Ed).

The healing touch of SVIMS has covered most of Andhra Pradesh and the neighbouring states. The major objectives of SVIMS includes service, training and education in advanced medical sciences and technology. Latest technology in diagnostic wing and total computer automation of patient care has been implemented in this institution for the first time in our Country. The computer centre is equipped with medical literature analysis and retrieval system on line (MEDLINE) to get the information available from standard medical journals in the entire world. SVIMS also introduced "MEDLARS" awareness programme, which is a boon for all the students and medical personnel. Both inpatients & outpatients have increased by 75% to 100% in recent years.
