Educational Qualifications:

Candidates should possess Ph.D. Degree, Acharya/ M.A., in the subject concerned with a minimum 55% marks from an institution recognised by the UGC/any State Govt./ Union Govt. of India with NET/ SLET/ SET qualification or Salakshana Ghanantha Adhyayana with  Knowledge of Siksha and Pratisakhya of Kanva Sakha for Post 01, Karshanadi Pratishtha Utsava Prayaschittanta with knowledge in Pramana Granthas concerned in Pancharatra Agama with sufficient knowledge in Sanskrit and proficiency in Pancharatra Agama rituals for Post 02, 03, Complete Adhyayana of Vaikhanasa Pourohitya and Vaikhanasa Smarta Dharma and Pravara Sutras with Bashya with sufficient knowledge for Post 04, Mastery over Vaidika Chandassastra through Adhyayana system with Swavedasakha from a reputed institution for Post 05 from  a reputed institution.

Application Fee:

Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- through Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Registrar, Sri Venkateswara Vedic University, Tirupati drawn on State Bank of India/ Andhra Bank.


How to Apply: 

Eligible candidates may send their six sets application in the prescribed format along with copies of certificates of educational qualifications, Proof of Date of Birth, Experience etc.,and Demand Draft to The Registrar, S.V. Vedic University, Alipiri-Chandragiri  Bypass Road, Tirupati- 517502, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh on or before 4.00 PM on 14-06-2017.

GENERAL GUIDELINES AND CONDITIONS FOR TEACHING POSTS:

1) Copies of the supporting documents (Pattas/ Degree/ Diploma Certificates and Mark Sheets) of qualifications and experience etc., shall be enclosed with the application.

2) Copies of the certificate in proof of date of birth – 10th TC/ Certificates issued by the Government Competent Authority, Municipality, Local Authority shall be enclosed with the application.

3) Applications received may be shortlisted. Mere possessing the Minimum qualification would not entitle a candidate to be called for an interview. Weightage will be given to the candidates already working as Lecturers on Ad-hoc basis in the relevant subjects in this University provided they fulfill all other eligibility conditions as per the orders dated 23-09-2016 of the Honourable High Court of
Andhra Pradesh and Telengana states.

4) The experience certificate must have been issued by The Registrar or The Principal of the University/ College concerned.

5) Certificates of proficiency in the subject concerned from two reputed scholars must be enclosed with the application.

6) No queries or correspondence regarding issue of call letters for interview/selection of candidates for the post will be entertained at any stage and canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification of the candidate from considering to the post.

7) The University reserves the right to revise/reschedule/cancel/suspend the recruitment process without assigning any reason. The decision of the University shall be final and no appeal shall be entertained.

8) Full signature of the applicant is to be affixed on the application. Paste (do not staple/pin) a recent passport size colour photograph in the space provided for at the right top portion on the first page of the application.

9) Please write name of the post applied for with subject and applicant’s name with full postal address on the backside of the Demand Draft without fail.

10) The candidates should bring with them their original certificates for verification.

11) The candidates called for interview will have to come to the place of interview at their own expenses. No TA & DA will be paid by the University.

12) No printed applications will be supplied by the University. The candidates are informed to download the prescribed concerned application form available in the website (svvedicuniversity.ac.in) of the University while applying for the positions.

13) Applications on plain paper or without the enclosures will be rejected.

14) Applications received after the due date and time shall summarily be rejected. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Incomplete applications or applications without necessary enclosures, registration fee are liable to be rejected. Registration fee once paid will not be refunded.

15) Applicants are advised to give phone/mobile numbers and e-mail address in their own interest to facilitate prompt communication if necessary.

16) Applicants may attach additional sheet(s) wherever necessary quoting the serial number in the application form for furnishing additional details.

17) The appointees are governed by the New Pension Rules in vogue and also the University rules and regulations.

18) Applicant must fulfill the essential requirements of the post and other conditions specified above.

19) Filled in applications should be addressed to the Registrar, Sri Venkateswara Vedic University, Alipiri-Chandragiri Bypass Road, Tirupati – 517502 (A.P.) in an envelope super scribing “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _______________” and should reach this office before 4.00 p.m. on 14-06-2017 (in person or by post).
