Eligibility Criteria For RRC Southern Railway Recruitment 2017
Educational Qualification:
Junior Engineer (JE - P.Way): Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Civil
Engineering (Transportation).
Junior Engineer (Track Machine Organisation): Three years Diploma in Mechanical/
Production/ Automobile/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control
Engineering or a combination of any sub-stream of basic stream of Mechanical/
Production/ Automobile/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control
Engineering from recognised University/ Institute.
Candidate upper age limit should be 42 years as on 01.07.2017. Age relaxation in upper age limit is applicable 05 years for SC/ ST candidate and 03 years for OBC category candidate.
Pay Scale:
Pay Scale for Southern Railway Jobs 2017 : After selection, candidate will be paid pay scale of Rs.9300/- to Rs. 34,800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- at level 6 in Pay Matrix of VII CPC for Southern Railway Junior Engineer Jobs 2017.
Selection Process:
The GDCE will consist of Written
Examination, Verification of certificates and Medical Examination. The standard
of the Written Examination under GDCE shall be that of the Written Examination
prescribed for Direct Recruitment.
