Eligibility Criteria for IIPE Teaching Faculty Recruitment 2017
#For Assistant Professors: Age under 35 years (preferable)
#For Senior Contractual Faculty/ Visiting Faculty: Age up to 69 years will be considered for Senior contractual faculty
Educational Qualifications:
#Assistant Professors
Qualification & Experience:
Ph.D. with minimum of 2 years Teaching / Research experience in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Mathematics, Geology/Geophysics.
Criteria
#2 years teaching / Research experience in reputed institutions / National Laboratories;
#Minimum 3 International Journal publications in SCI/SCIE Journals with impact factor;
#Rules can be relaxed for exceptional candidates;
#Candidates from industries with proven track records may also be considered;
#Senior Contractual Faculty/ Visiting Faculty
Qualification & Experience:
Ph.D with minimum 10 years Teaching / Research experience in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Mathematics, Geology/Geophysics.

#Minimum 10 years Teaching / Research experience in reputed Institutions;
#Good International journal publication record;

#The initial period of contract shall be 2 years; renewable thereafter;
#Counselor
Qualification & Experience:
Master degree in psychology with specialization in clinical / social psychology with 2 years experience in psychological counseling in a Clinical, Medical or Academic institution of repute.
OR
M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology with 1st class, along with atleast 2 years of relevant experience.
OR
MA in Clinical Psychology with 1st class along with 3 years of relevant experience.
Relevant experience is defined as counseling experience for group counseling as well as individual counseling in an educational institution or in a mental health-care-clinic.
Desirable: M.Phil./Ph.D. in psychology preferred.
Criteria
#Experience in psychological counseling of young adults living in a fully residential campus
of an academic institution of repute.
#The initial period of contract shall be 1 year; renewable thereafter
Pay Scale:
#For Assistant Professors: Candidate who will be selected for Assistant Professors, they will receive salary of Rs. 85,000/-per month
#For Senior Contractual Faculty/ Visiting Faculty: While who have applied for Senior Visiting Faculty will get Rs. One Lakh per month
#For Counselor: Those who are applying for Counselor vacancy shall get Rs. 50,000/-per month

Candidates will have to perform their best in interview as selection of the applicants will be made on the basis of their performance in interview conducting by recruitment panel of Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy.
