Posts Name: Scientist and Principal Scientist

No.of posts & Reservations:

Scientist:19 posts (09-UR, 02-ST, 07-OBC, 01-PwD)

Principal Scientist: 05 posts (05-UR)

Educational qualification: 

Applicants must have passed Ph. D. in chemistry and applicants must have 2 years of post Ph. D. research experience.More details click below Notification link.

Age limit:

For Scientist: Upper age limit not exceeding 32 years as on 30.06.2017

For Principal Scientist: Upper age limit not exceeding 45 years as on 30.06.2017

Age relaxation: 5years for SC/ST, 3years for OBC, 10years for PWD.

Application fee: 

Candidates are required to remit the application fee of Rs.100/- in favour of  "Director, CSIR-IICT" through online payment system i.e. NEFT/ Bank Transfer/ Net Banking, etc., with the following details:

For Principal Scientist: Level-13, Rs.37400-67000 (PB-4) GP Rs.8700/- (Pre-revised)

Total Emoluments:

For Scientist: Rs. 87,107/-

For Principal Scientist: Rs.1,47,424/-

Total Emoluments means approximate total emoluments on minimum of scale including House Rent Allowance in Class 'X' City.

Selection process: 

Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad will recruit the candidates based on their performance in interview and experience.
