Best Available School Scheme Admission Notification 2017 - Mahabubabad District:


Tribal Welfare Department Mahabubabad District has given the BASS (Best Available School Scheme) Admissions 2017 notification for admission into 3rd, 5th, 8th classes for the academic year 2017-2018 and invites applications from the eligible students for admission into 3rd, 5th, 8th classes under BASS from 23rd May 2017 to 31st May 2017.

 Best Available Schools:

Bright children among STs are selected by District Selection Committee under the Chairmanship of Collector in non-ITDA districts and ProjectOfficers in ITDA districts and the selected ST children are being admitted in the Best Available Schools (Reputed Private Management Schools). During 2001-02, Government have issued revised guidelines vide G.O.Ms.No.70, Social Welfare (TW.Edn.II) Department, dated 1-8-2001. During 2014-15, (4271) ST students studying in (63) schools identified under Best Available Schools Program.

Best Available School Scheme admission notification 2017/BASS admissions 2017:

Telangana Tribal Welfare Department has given permission to selection of st students for Best Available School Scheme for 2017-2018and  total 11 seats in 3rd, 5th and 8th class and these seats would be filled up through draw of lots.




 Income Limit: Candidates should have parent annual income Rs.2,50,000/-

Selection Procedure: Draw of lots.

 How to apply: 

Students should obtain the application forms from the following offices with free of cost and should submit the applications along with following required documents attested with Gazetted officer on or before as per announced date to the Concerned officials/SW/ITDA Offices in Concerned District.

1. Cast certificate
2. Income Certificate
3. Residence Certificate
4. Study certificate

Important Dates:

#Starting Date of applications: 23-05-2017
#Last date for submission of applications: 31.05.2017
#Date of Lottery in Presence of Parents: 5th June 2017 at 11am
