Eligibility Criteria of UPSC CAPF 2017:
#The candidates must be a citizen of India.
#Male/female both are eligible to apply for the posts of Assistant Commandants in CRPF, CISF, SSB, #BSF. However female candidates are not eligible to apply for ITBP.
#The candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
#The candidates must have aged between 20 and 25 as on 1st August 2017.
#The candidates have to possess the minimum physical standards mentioned in the official notification.
Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University/ Institution.
Age Limit:
A candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on 1st August, 2017. Upper age limit relaxations applicable as per norms.
Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using
Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.

#The application procedure is divided into 2 parts- Part I and Part II.
#The applicants have to choose the desired post and then enter all the required details.
#The applicants also have to pay application fee in specified format.
#After this part I registration is completed and the applicants will be provided a registration no. & password through email.
#Next will be the part II registration and the applicants have to enter all the relevant details as required.
#The applicants will have to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature in specified format and size.
#After this the application form has to be submitted.
#Once the application is submitted successfully, a printed copy of the application form will be generated. The applicants are advised to take a copy of the same for further reference.
#Selection of candidates in CAPF AC will complete in three stages.
3The candidates have to qualify these stages for final selection as:
#Written examination, Physical & Medical standards Tests and Physical efficiency test (PET) and PI.
#Aspirants should be able to qualify in all these stages.
#Admission to the aspirants will be purely provisional.

UPSC CAPF 2017 Examination Syllabus:
Paper I: General Ability and Intelligence
General Science, General Mental Ability, Indian Polity and Economy, Current Events of National and International Importance, Indian and World Geography, History of India
Paper II: General Studies, Essay, and Comprehension
Part A: Essay questions from the topic are modern Indian history especially of the polity and economy, geography, knowledge of security and human rights issues, freedom struggle and analytical ability.
Part B: Comprehension, precise writing, other communications/language skills – to be attempted in English only (Marks 120) from the topics are précis writing, developing counter arguments, Comprehension passages, simple grammar and other aspects of language.
