TS ICET 2017 Notification, Schedule| Telangana ICET 2017|TS MBA MCA Notification:
Telangana State Council for Higher Education, allotting various entrance examinations to different universities in the State has allotted TS ICET-2017 Entrance Test to Kakatiya University. The Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET)-2017 notification will be released in the month of February 2017 and online registrations will commence in the month of March. A common Entrance Test, designed as Integrated Common Entrance Test 2017(ICET 2017) will be conducted by the Kakatiya University for entry into the first year of M.B.A and M.C.A courses offered for the academic year 2017-2018 in the Telangana State on behalf of TSCHE and the University Officials have released the examination schedule on 14th February, 2017.

Telangana and Andhra Pradesh candidates who wish to pursue MBA course from Dr BR Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU), here, should qualify in the Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) conducted by both the States.

Eligibility Criteria for admission into ICET Course:
1.The candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Telangana State Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended up to date (as per G.O. Ms.No. 25, dated: 19.03.2004 & G.O.Ms.No.108, dated 3-7-2005,Higher Education Department, dated 30-7-2005 and its amendments).
2.The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned
3.The candidates seeking admission:
A.For MBA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree Examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the qualifying examination.
B.For MCA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the qualifying examination with Mathematics at 10+2 level.
4.The qualifying Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by joint committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC.
5.The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for TSICET-2017
6.Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies.
7.Qualifying marks in TSICET-2017 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST
candidates.
Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into MBA/MCA course unless the candidate:
(A).appears for Counseling at the notified Centers
(B).applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for part-time\evening\distance mode)
(C). satisfies all the eligibility criteria for admission as stipulated by the authority concerned

TSICET 2017 Syllabus and ExamPattern:

TSICET 2017 will be the paper-pencil based test that contains total 200 questions. The time duration of 2 and a half hours will be allotted to the students to answer the questions. Each question carries one mark and no provision of negative marking. Total 3 sections are there in the TSICET 2017 examination namely Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability and Communication Ability.

Section-A: Analytical Ability: Total 75   

Data Sufficiency: 20         

Problem Solving: 55

Section-B: Mathematical Ability: Total 75

Arithmetical Ability:35 

algebraical and Geometrical Ability:30

Statistical Ability: 10

Section-C: Communication Ability:Total 50
