Eligibility Criteria for TNPSC Recruitment 2017

Age Limit: 

Minimum age limit must be 18 years.Upper age limit is 30 years (as on 01-07-2017)

Age Relaxation:

Education Qualification:

#Personal Clerk / Steno Typist: Candidates must have completed Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university and Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting & Shorthand with Higher grade in Tamil and English

#Accountant in Treasuries and Accounts Department: Graduation in any discipline, Preference will be given to candidates having degree in commerce

#Assistant in (Law Department) Secretariat: B.L. Degree in any discipline from a recognised university

#Assistant in (Finance Department) Secretariat: Bachelors degree in Commerce / Economics / Statistics

#For all other posts: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university

TNPSC Group 2A Service Selection Procedure:

Selection for these jobs in Tamilnadu will be made on the basis of Marks scored in the written exam only. there will no interview for these TNPSC Vacancies

TNPSC Group 2A Service  Exam Pattern:

The written exam will be conducted in single paper objective type, the subjects included in this TNPSC exam are,

a) General Studies (Degree Standard) – 75 Questions
b) Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (S.S.L.C. Std.) – 25 Questions
c) General Tamil / General English (S.S.L.C. Std.) – 100 Questions

The examination will be conducted for total of 300 Marks with 3 Hours of duration
