SSC SI ASI Recruitment 2017 Notification - Vacancy Details:
1. Sub-Inspector (Male) in Delhi Police - 616 (Open - 548 & Ex-SM - 68)
2. Sub-Inspector (Female) in Delhi Police - 256 (Open)
3. Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs - 786 (Male - 697 & Female - 89)
4. ASI (Executive) in CISF - 563 (Male - & Female - )
Age Limit:
Minimum 20 years & maximum 25 years as on 01.01.2017.Age relaxation is applicable to 05 years for SC/ ST candidates, 03 years for OBC candidates.
Educational Qualifications & Eligibility:
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University or its equivalent.
Note: For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police only - Male candidates must possess and also carry a valid Driving License for LMV (Motor cycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. However, the candidates who do not have a Valid Driving License for LMV (Motor Cycle and Car) can apply for all other CAPFs posts.
How to Apply:
Eligible candidates can apply online through ssconline.nic.in before 15.05.2017. Candidates required to pay Rs. 100/- through SBI Challan/ SBI Net banking or through credit/ debit cards of any bank. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Ex- Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee.
Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Candidates log on the website www.ssconlie.nic.in
2. Click on Apply & Select the desired post
3. Again Click on Apply Link
4. Fill the form in 2 Parts (Part-I Registration, Part-II Registration).
5. In Part I Registration, Candidates have to fill basic information carefully.
6. After filling the Part-I, If there is no need to make any corrections then Click on “I agree” button. Thereafter no correction/ modification etc will be allowed.
7. Registration No will be generated, Note down the registration number or take out the print out of the page.
8. In Part II registration candidates have to enter the payment details, upload the photograph & scanned signature.
9. Those who are exempted from payment of fee can skip that entering those fields.
10. Fill all the details carefully & Submit the form.
11. Now take printout of online application for future use.
Examination Scheme:
The examination will consist of two papers. Paper-I will be held from 30.06.2017 to 07.07.2017 and Paper-II will be held on 08.10.2017. Physical endurance test will not carry any marks but will be of qualifying/ elimination nature. All the candidates who qualify in the PET have to undergo Medical Test.

Question s in both papers will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. Questions will be set in Hindi and English in Parts A, B and C of Paper I. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I &Paper-II. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions. The Commission may at the discretion fix qualifying marks in Paper-II.
Canvassing in any form will disqualifying the candidates.
