Eligibility Criteria for RAC DRDO Scientist B Posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
Aeronautical Engineer: candidate should have completed first class Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from a recognised university
Computer Science & Engg: candidate should have completed first class Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science engineering from a recognized university
Electronics & Communication Engineering: candidate should have completed first class Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized university
Mechanical Engineering: candidate should have completed first class Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
Instrumentation Engineering: candidate should have completed first class Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized university.
Civil Engineering: candidate should have completed first class Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
Naval Engineering: candidate should have completed first class Bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering from a recognized university.
Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 31 years for OBC (Non-creamy layer) and 33 years for SC/ST. Age relaxations will be applicable as per the rules.
Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their GATE score in the respective discipline and shortlisted candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the interview.
Pay Scale: Rs. 56,100/- .
Application Fee:
For OBC Candidates Application Fee is - 100/- & For All Other Candidates (PH/ST/SC/Women) Application Fee is - Nil
Important Instructions:
1.Those applications which are not locked by the candidates in accordance with the instructions will be summarily rejected and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
2.The applicants should ensure their eligibility themselves in respect of age, essential qualifications etc.
3.Candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions, desiring of applying for more than one item, must apply separately for each item.
4.No request with respect to the change in any data entered by the candidates will be entertained once the application is locked successfully.
5.The OBC (NCL) candidates are required to submit requisite certificate in prescribed format of Government of India, from a competent authority issued within one year of the closing date.
6.The number of vacancies for any subject may vary.
