Cochin Port Trust Recruitment 2017 – Pilot & Dy Marine Engineer Posts: Cochin Port Trust has invites applications for the recruitment of Pilot (Class- I) & Dy. Marine Engineer vacancies on regular & contract basis. Cochin Port Trust Vacancy Details:

Name of the Post:
1. Pilot (Class- I): 02 Posts
2. Dy. Marine Engineer: 01 Post

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 40 years for Post 1. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess certificate of competency as Master of Foreign Going Ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India with One year Post Qualification experience as Master/ Chief Officer of a foreign going Ship for Post 1, MOT II Class Motor Certificate issued under Merchant Shipping Act 1958 with Two years experience as Independent Watch Keeping Engineer on board a foreign going ship for Post 2.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on merit for Post 1, interview for Post 2.

How to Apply:
For Post 1: Eligible candidates may send their application along with recent passport size photo, attested copies of the documents to proof date of birth, qualification, experience etc., & in an envelope should be super scribed as “Application for the Post Of Pilot” to The Secretary, Cochin Port Trust, Cochin –682 009 on or before 31-05-2017.
For Post 2: Eligible candidates may attend for walk in interview along with Curriculum vitae, attested copies of Certificates, & latest one passport size photos on 03-04-2017 to 17-04-2017.

Last Date for Receipt of Application for Post 1: 31-05-2017.
Date of Interview for Post 2: 03-04-2017 to 17-04-2017.
Reporting Time for Post 2: Between 10.00.AM and 5.00 PM
