Eligibility Criteria for Probationary Engineer Posts

Educational Qualifications:

First class in Engineering Degree from AICTE approved Colleges in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Communication/ Telecommunication/ Mechanical/ Computer Science/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Civil Engineering. Candidates with AMIE / AMIETE in the above specializations should have secured first class. Pass in Engineering degree in specializations mentioned above for SC/ST & PWD candidates.

Age Limit:

Upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.04.2017. Upper age limit relaxations applicable as per norms.

How to Apply:

Eligible candidates can apply through online mode latest by 11 May 2017. Candidates are advised to take a printout of submitted application for future reference. Candidates are required to check official site for more information or updates.

Application Fee:

Candidates belonging to GEN/ OBC category are required pay an application fee of Rs 500/-. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidate will be based on written test and Interview. The list of candidates short-listed in the written test for interview, will appear on the BEL website on 24 July 2017.
