Andhra University conduct APSET Examination in view of lot of demand for recruitment as assistant Professors / Lectures through direct recruitment or promotion in Universities and Degree colleges in newly formed Andhra Pradesh state. There are 26 Universities, 146 Government Degree Colleges, 1192 aided and unaided degree colleges in bifurcated Andhra Pradesh. University Grants Commission, New Delhi has granted accredation to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam for conduct of three State eligibility test (SET) Examinations during the next three years (once in a year) on behalf of the State of Andhra Pradesh from date of 21st April 2016.
