1. Programme name: Remedial teaching/3Rs Programme
2. Targets: Achievement of basic Competencies Reading, Writing and Arithmetic
Pre Test to students for set target to make all the students to achieve basic competencies.
5. End line exam/Post Test: 26th or 27th September, 2016
End line/Post Test to students to know the progress in reaching the targets
A. Pre test/Baseline test for Remedial teaching/3Rs Programme: All the DEOs & POs of SSA in the State are hereby informed that. vide ref. cited detailed instructions have been issued on the implementation of academic calendar for the academic year 2016-17 and also instructions on Implementation of remedial teaching (3Rs Programme) in all the Primary, Upper Primary and High Schools conduct of baseline evaluation on children achievement of basic Competencies Reading, Writing and Arithmetic and set target to make all the students to achieve basic competencies of Reading, Writing and Arithmetic by 30th September 2016.
B. Post test/End line exam: In this regard now it is proposed for conduct of the End line examination to all the students to know the progress in reaching the targets i.e. achievement of basic competencies of Reading, Writing and Arithmetic by 30th September 2016.
C. End line examination on 26th or 27th of September 2016: Therefore, all the DEOs & POs of SSA are requested to give instructions to the Headmasters of Primary, Upper Primary and High Schools to conduct End line examination on 26th or 27th of September 2016 and send the progress report to the concerned MEOs/Dy.E.O.s to consolidate and send the same to the Districts. The DEOs in the districts are requested to furnish the district progress report to the Director of School Education and a copy to Director, SCERT.
D. Baseline and line examinations: No. of students can able to perform in baseline in the competencies of Reading, Writing and Mathematics and also in the End line examinations - class wise & competency wise progress and the proforma to furnish the progress is given here under
E. Provide Correct data/information: If schools not taken up the remedial programme as per the instructions, they need not provide information. The schools will be cross checked for correct data by the District/ State teams and necessary action will be initiated if schools provided wrong data/information.
F. Last date for Sending Progress report: Therefore, all the DEOs and POs of SSA are requested to inform the same to all the Headmasters of Primary, Upper Primary and High Schools through concerned MEOs and Dy. EOs and get authentic information and furnish the district progress report to the Director, SCERT and a copy to Director of School Education before 08th October 2016 without fail.
